Overnight leaders Jarin Todd (United States) and Daniel Nisbet (Australia) are two under for the day to lead the tournament at 11 under, with Japan’s Tatsuya Kodai slipping back to a share of fourth place at nine under, alongside Australian Josh Younger (three under today).

A pair of birdies this morning have helped Travis Smyth to within a shot of the leaders at 10 under in outright third place.

Australians Anthony Quayle and David Bransdon, along with Taiwan’s Chien-yao Hung (all four under today) are amongst the other golfers to work their way up the standings.

The field for the 99th New Zealand Open have been playing in cool, overcast conditions at Millbrook Resort and The Hills this morning, with rain expected for this afternoon.
